Question:
A coworker of mine is undergoing once weekly radiation treatment for intestinal cancer. I am 4 weeks pregnant and work with her all day, five days a week. Is there any risk to my unborn child?
Answer:
Your colleague's radiation is not emitted from him/her to you, because it does not stay in his/her body. Hence, his/her radiation cannot and will not have any impact on you.
