Question:
I took Diclectin during the entire duration of my pregnancy. I am wondering whether there have been studies to show any correlation between this drug and the physical state of a newborn baby. In particular, my son was a very fussy baby. Also, my son has a milk protein allergy and this is peculiar since both myself and my husband don't have and have never had a milk protein allergy. What does the medical community know about the effects of Diclectin on babies?
Thanks
Answer:
There is no evidence to suggest that Diclectin has any of these adverse effects on the baby of a mother who took it during pregnancy.
