Question:
I'm 10 weeks pregnant and I've been in bed for 5 weeks with severe vomitting and constant nasuea. I'm taking zofran but very sparingly for 2 reasons, my insurance is not covering it and it's about $40 per pill but more importantly I'm concern about the effects on the baby. I have read your previous comments on Zofran but I was wondering if you have any current updated studies reported on it.
Answer:
Talk to your doctor and discuss whether you should be taking the maximum dose of Zofran. There is no new safety information since we last posted information.
