Question:
Hi There,
I am 5 weeks pregnant (2nd) pregnancy) and have been taking a vitamin b complex which has 100mg of vitamin b6. I have been taking this for several months now as I am breastfeeding my toddler as well. I have suddenly become aware that maybe I have been taking too much, and wondering if there is a toxic level. I am really worried that I have harmed my baby....
any information will be helpful
thank you
Answer:
Taking 100mg of Vitamin B6/daily should not be harmful to your unborn baby. The safety of Vitamin B6 during pregnancy has been confirmed at up to 200 mg/day.
