Question:
Hello,
My wife is 12 weeks along and is suffering from NVP and taking Diclectin. She also has an iron deficiency and taking Euro-Fer 300mg. The last few days she has had very bad heartburn and wants to take something for it.
What if any would be safe for her to take Zantac 75, Zantac 150, or Pepto-Bismol?
Thank you,
Gord
Answer:
Studies have been conducted that have found Zantac (ranitidine) to be safe and effective for heartburn during pregnancy.
