Women and HIV

Women have specific needs and issues related to HIV infection. A Web site dedicated to women's issues that many women find helpful is World.

Having the opportunity to talk with other women living with HIV infection can be an important source of information and support. Organizations that will help connect newly diagnosed women to other women living with HIV infection or support groups for women or new mothers living with HIV include:
